On June 2nd 1984 I was born in Boxtel, The Netherlands. I developed an early passion for computer programming and went on to study “Industrial automation”. As this was quite easy for me, I chose to continue education at Nijmegen University in 2004. I received my masters degree in Biology in 2009 and went on to work as a PhD student at the Donders Institute. In 2015 I received my PhD and started as a Post-doc at the Champalimaud Centre for the Unknown in Lisbon, Portugal. Later I joined MindTrace BV and designed to a system to collect and analyze videos of participants performing experiments online.
